Internet Identity: Forward in All Directions

Internet identity has gone from its R&E inspired beginnings at the start of the century into the business of governments and big companies. New social technologies need to be integrated with the existing federations; new devices need to be integrated into the mix; new use cases and new players are creating active marketplaces where empty lots were a few years ago. This session will cover the latest developments, from OpenID Connect to government initiatives to the monetization of attributes, with a focus on where the next unanticipated consequences might develop.
