Scientific Schizophrenia - How many identities do YOU have? Save to my Google calendar

Having to remember too many user names and passwords is a plague of today's digital age. For years now, federated identity promises to collapse these many identities into - one? few? many?
While from a technical point of view it is possible to use the same online identity everywhere, policy hurdles, competition thinking and other hurdles stand in the way. This session will present several approaches to federated identity, and will give a glimpse where and why (or why not!) consolidation of online identities makes sense.
