Web Identity episode IV - A New Hope Save to my Google calendar

For many years OpenID was spurned as a low-value consumer-oriented toy. Now the OpenID brand is making a comeback in the form of OpenID Connect - sometimes jokingly referred to as "SAML 3.0" or "SAML on JSON". The major vendors including Google, Microsoft and almost all major mobile operators (just to mention a few) are betting heavily on this technology.

This session will tell you about OAUTH - the foundation of OpenID Connect and some of the interesting work being done with it in the R&E community. We will also cover VOOT - the OpenSocial profile that will save the Groups!
