Maria Isabel Gandía has a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering by the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC). She collaborated with UPC and, since 1996, she works in CESCA, first as a Communications Expert. From 2007 to 2009, she worked as the Leader Expert in Technology. From 2010, she is the Head of the Communications Area, responsible for the Regional Research and Education Network, Anella Científica, and for the Catalonia Internet Exchange, CATNIX. She has also participated in several national and international projects, task forces and expert panels, like TF-NOC, and is a technological adviser of the Catalan Terminology Centre, TERMCAT.
